The Elmira Pioneers Announce New Ownership Group

Elmira, NY: The Elmira Pioneers announced there was a change in ownership, as of January 1st, 2018.

Nellie and Robbie Nichols have become the sole owners of the Elmira Pioneers.

We are very excited about the bright future of the Pioneers. We are looking forward to carrying on the great tradition that has been here in Elmira since 1888. We are very proud to be the owners of the Pioneers and we will make sure Elmira Pioneers Baseball is here forever. We really enjoy the great relationship we have working with the city of Elmira, Mayor Mandell and City Manager Michael Collins.

Elmira is a great city to own a baseball team in. The support we receive from our sponsors and amazing fans is second to none. We can never say enough good things about Hilliard, STCF, First Transit, Bully Hill Vineyards, Arnot Health, Arnot Mall, Jubilee, Ziff Law Firm and many other sponsors.

The Elmira Pioneers have led the PGCBL in attendance for the past six seasons, averaging over 3,200 fans per home game. Elmira Pioneers have also ranked in the top two or three in attendance in the entire USA in Collegiate Baseball.
