Pioneers Preparing for Season With Hot Stove Dinner

The Elmira Pioneers will be hosting their 5th Annual Hot Stove Dinner at the Holiday Inn in Elmira, NY with special guest speaker, Former New York Mets Manager, Bobby Valentine. The event will be held on Thursday, April 25th.

 
The 5th Annual Hot stove dinner is the kick off for the Elmira Pioneers season letting fans know that the Elmira Pioneers are getting ready for their 131stseason of baseball in the Twin Tiers.

 
Bobby Valentine played 10 seasons of Major League baseball from 1969 through 1979 before managing the Texas Rangers from 1985-92, the New York Mets from 1996-2002, and the Boston Red Sox in 2012. 

 

Valentine managed the Mets from 1996 - 2002, leading the team to the post-season in 1999 and 2000, reaching the World Series in 2000.
