Historic Dunn Field Will Host July Baseball

The Elmira Pioneers season was cancelled over a month ago due to the COVID-19 situation and thoughts of events have taken a backseat to safety. However, we are proud to announce that Elmira Babe Ruth will play two games next week at historic Dunn Field.

On Monday July 27^th Elmira Babe Ruth team will host thee Schuyler Babe Ruth team at 6 pm and then on Thursday July, 30^th Elmira Babe Ruth will host Horseheads Babe Ruth team at 6 pm.

“Dunn Field is part of the Elmira Community and like the rest of Elmira it doesn’t feel like Summer until baseball is taking place.” Robbie Nichols told media members. “We have the most amazing sponsors and fans and to not be able to have them all out to the park feels different, but we know we have to be safe during this time so we will have guidelines in place to protect everyone.”

Historic Dunn Field will be following and comply with all parameters set by the Chemung County Health Department.
