Elmira Pioneers Add International Athletes Ahead of the 2019 Season

The Pioneers have added two more unique players to their roster as today they announce the addition of Pitchers Charles Lefebvre and Neftaly Severino Cronier III.

Lefebvre is a 6’3, 175 lbs right hander from Laval, QC Canada. Charles has been listed as a Preseason All American and as an All-Tournament Team member in 2017. Lefebvre’s fastball continues to come along as he regularly exceeds the mid 80’s and has led to international competition success going 2-1 in 2017.

Severino Cronier is a 6’0, 190lbs right hander from Saint-Gabriel High School in Boisbriand, QC Canada. Neftaly was on the 2018 and 2019 Preseason All American teams as well as the 2017 and 2018 BCS National Championship All-Tournament Teams as well as the 2018 WWBA World Championship All-Tournament Team. Serverino Cronier also has speed in his arm with a fastball that continually reaches above the mid 80’s.

“The international game has continued to grow and here in Elmira we are lucky enough to be able to work with some of the best Canada has to offer. Year in and year out we get a chance to work with a wide variety of athletes and this makes our team diverse and exciting to watch.” Matt Burch said.
