Delaney Named as West Division Week 6 Player of The Week

ELMIRA, NY—Elmira Pioneers’ Caleb Delaney was announced, Monday, as the Week

6 West Division Player of the Week, following a six game stint that saw fourteen hits.

Delaney becomes the fifth Pioneer to receive the honor this season following a week

with four multi-hit games, with seven RBIs. Delaney went 14-21 in the six games and

improved his batting average to a league leading .485.

This is Delaney’s first honors by the PGCBL; despite a .441 average in the month of

June, he was not named to the West Division All Star team.

The next game for the Pioneers is at home versus the Geneva Red Wings, for
