2024 ELMIRA PIONEERS SCHEDULE & RETURN OF ANNUAL HOTSTOVE DINNER (FEAT. NY YANKEE GREAT, BUCKY DENT)

The West Division Champion Elmira Pioneers are excited for their 139th season at Historic Dunn Field in the PGCBL and are incredibly excited to announce plans for the upcoming summer!

The 2024 PGCBL schedule has been released with the Pioneers opening day will be Friday May 31st vs the Batavia Muckdogs with postgame fireworks. If you have not bought season tickets make sure to get them by calling their offices at 607-734-2690 or www.theelmirapioneers.com. Season tickets start at just $99. For the 2024 season home game times will start at 6:35 PM except for Sunday home games starting at 4:05 PM.

The Pioneers won the PGCBL West Division Championship in 2023 and lost in the PGCBL championship game to the Amsterdam Mohawks. “We were so close last summer and I know the players here got to see firsthand how much this city wanted it and we are hungry to go out and get one for Elmira in 2024” -Coach Drum quotes. HOT STOVE DINNER FEATURING NEW YORK YANKEE GREAT BUCKY DENT

Bucky Dent, former New York Yankees player & Manager will come to Elmira on Friday April 19th at the Clarion Inn Elmira (760 E Water St Elmira NY) presented by Hilliard Corporation & Blaze Brockway Contracting. The event will have a special meet & greet followed by a hot stove dinner with Dent as the guest speaker. Bucky Dent was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the first round of the 1970 draft. Dent played for 11 seasons as a player in the MLB, won two world series, three all-star appearances, & was named World Series MVP in 1978. Dent also spent 10 seasons as an assisted coach and was the New York Yankees Manager from 1989-1990. Tickets for both events are on sale now & start as low as $50.
