The Reds would finally get on the board with a RBI double by Erick Ramirez (UMass Dartmouth) to bring the score 2-1. An RBI groundout from Rob Perteet (Samford) would bring in Elmira Heights, NY native Josh Cosgrove (Onondaga C.C.) to put the Pios up again by two with a score of 3-1.
A Brian Kelly (Siena) RBI single would put the Pios up 4-1 in the bottom of the seventh.
The Pioneers would tack on another run in the bottom of the eight off a Preziuso RBI single to bring in Blake Buckman (U. of Louisiana at Monroe).
