Weekend Preview: Wounded Warrior Weekend At Dunn Field
Your Elmira Pioneers will be hosting the Wounded Warrior Weekend at Dunn Field. All ticket proceeds from these events will be donated to Bath VA and Medical Center & Stirin’s Military Rehabilitation.
The weekend kicks off on Friday, July 15th, with the Wounded Warrior Concert at Historic Dunn Field. The concert features a variety of great local bands that are performing throughout the evening. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. and the concert begins at 6:00 p.m.
On Saturday, July 16th, the Pioneers are hosting a motorcycle ride and the Wounded Warrior softball game with post-game fireworks! Registration for the motorcycle ride starts at 11:00 a.m. with kickstart time set at 1:00 p.m.
After the ride, the riders will return to Historic Dunn Field. Following the ride, the Wounded Warrior Softball Game will begin shortly after where your Elmira Pioneers will face off against the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team. The gates will open at 6:00 for this event with the start time for the game’s opening pitch to be 7:00. Following the game there will be a post-game fireworks show.
On Sunday, the Pioneers face off against the Oneonta Outlaws at 5:00 p.m. This game features free Hilliard Thundersticks and it is also Bobby K Sunday Funday!
