2013 PGCBL West Division Champs

Nine Pioneers Selected to Participate in 2014 PGCBL All-Star Game at Dunn Field

Elmira, NY – The Elmira Pioneers along with the PGCBL are proud to announce the rosters for the 2014 PGCBL All-Star Game along with the participants for the Home Run Derby. The PGCBL All-Star game is set to take place on Tuesday, July 15th at Historic Dunn Field. All-Stars from the East Division will take on All-Stars from the West Division in this year’s mid-season classic. The East Division All-Stars will be managed by Keith Griffin from the Amsterdam Mohawks while the West Division will be managed by Elmira’s own Matt Burch. The East Division team will be comprised of 24 players while the West Division will field 26 players.
The Pioneers placed eight players on this year’s All-Star squad along with one participant in the Home Run Derby. Zac Bellinger (St. Rose) will represent Elmira as he looks to take home the title "Champion of the Long Ball." The All-Star Game will start at 7:05 p.m. and feature Elmira infielders Christian Santisteban (Manhattan), Taylor Hillson (Mansfield) and Nick Walker (Old Dominion). The outfield will feature the duo of Chris Kalousdian (Manhattan) and TJ Dixon (Samford). Bryson Hough (Bucknell), Sam Sinnen (Old Dominion) and Matt Horton (Cornell) will represent the pitching staff.
The 2014 PGCBL All-Star Game is brought to you by Hilliard, Corning Inc., CSEA, Multi-Media Services, Texas Roadhouse, First Transit, Southern Tier Custom Fabricators, Sausage Maker, and Chemung Canal Trust Company. All-Star festivities will include Hot Air Ballon rides courtesy of Balloons over Corning for fans as well as Thunder-sticks courtesy of Hilliard and a HUGE post-game fireworks extravaganza. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. for fans as both teams hit the field to warm-up.
