Pioneers Make Final Preparations for 2014 PGCBL All-Star Game

Elmira, NY - Final preparations are underway to get Historic Dunn Field ready for the 2014 PGCBL All-Star Game that will take place tomorrow, Tuesday July 15th. The PGCBL’s best talent will hit the field for a full day of activities that will allow them to showcase their talents in front of scouts from various Major League organizations.
 
 
The 2014 PGCBL All-Star Game is brought to you by Hilliard, Corning Inc. and CSEA. Also sponsoring this year’s festivities are Multi-Media Services, Texas Roadhouse, First Transit, Southern Tier Custom Fabricators, Sausage Maker, and Chemung Canal Trust Company.
 
 
Ticket Prices for the 2014 PGCBL All-Star Game are as follows:
 
$5.00 General Admission Ticket – Seniors and Students
$10.00 General Admission
$15.00 Field Level VIP Box Seat (Includes Waitress Service)
 
 
Gates will open for fans at 5:00 p.m. with the 2014 PGCBL Home Run Derby set for 6:00 p.m. Zac Bellinger (St. Rose) will represent the Pioneers in the long ball tournament. The All-Star Game will get underway at 7:05 p.m. as the East Division will take on the West Division, who will be managed by Elmira’s own Matt Burch.
 
 
All-Star festivities will include FREE Hot Air Balloon rides for kids and $10 for adults courtesy of Balloons over Corning. There will also be FREE Thunder-sticks handed out to fans courtesy of Hilliard along with a HUGE post-game fireworks extravaganza sponsored by Corning Incorporated. Kids will also be able to enjoy a free “Kids Zone” that will feature bounce houses and more. Fans will also be able to get autographs from the All-Stars on-field during the Home Run Derby.
