Elmira Pioneers Hot Stove Dinner Sold Out

Elmira, NY - The Elmira Pioneers along with Elmira Business Institute and Hilliard are excited to announce that the Elmira Pioneers Hot Stove Dinner with special guest Dwight Gooden is sold out. The event will be held on Thursday, April 16th at the Hill Top Inn in Elmira. “I feel this is a great event for the Twin Tiers, and the response that we have received from the community has been tremendous." stated Co-Owner Don Lewis.


The special guest for the evening will be 3-time World Series champion and 1985 NL Triple Crown winner Dwight "Doc" Gooden. Those attending the sold-out festivities will have the opportunity for a VIP meet & greet with Gooden prior to a sit down dinner being served. Following the dinner, Gooden will have a speaking engagement with all fans in attendance.


To cap off this special night, a live auction of autographed Mets, Yankees and Pioneers memorabilia will take place. Also up for auction will be a painting of Dwight Gooden that will painted during the event by world famous speed painter John Jansky.


"This is a huge event for the Elmira Pioneers to put on and it’s going to be a fun evening. We couldn't do it without the support of our great fans and sponsors including Elmira Business Institute and Hilliard" Stated Co-Owner Robbie Nichols.


The Pioneers are excited to kick off the 2015 season in style! The Pioneers have a lot of fun and exciting promotions planned for this summer at Historic Dunn Field. Opening weekend at Historic Dunn Field is slated for Friday, June 5th against the Adirondack Trail Blazers and Saturday, June 6th against the Newark Pilots; first pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. both nights.
