Elmira N.Y. June 11, 2013 –

Ladies and Gentleman your Elmira Pioneers have been rained out yet again. Today’s game against the Utica Brewers at Donovan Stadium at Murnane Field will not be played and will be rescheduled for a later date.

Remember fans; the Pioneers will be in action on a five game home stand starting on Weenie Wednesday June 12th where hotdogs are only a dollar apiece. The next home game being Thursday June 13th is our guaranteed win night; if the Pioneers don’t win you can come back to Dunn Field on Friday June 14th’s game as the Pioneers take on the Geneva Red Wings. On Friday June 14th, we will be having free mini-bat night presented to you by Southern Tier Custom Fabricators to the first 1,000 kids. On the fourth night of the home stand Saturday June 15th there will be free poster schedules handed out to the fans. The final day of the home stand will be Sunday June 16th, which is Father’s day and you can come play catch with your dad on the field brought to you by His Tabernacle family church. All of those games are going to be right here in Elmira at Dunn Field. Wednesday through Saturday’s games will begin at 7PM and Sunday’s game will start at 5PM.

Come out and celebrate with your Elmira Pioneers during this five game home stand as we celebrate the 125th season of baseball here in the Twin Tiers. For more up-to date information visit www.elmirapioneers.com and for any ticketing questions call the Elmira Pioneers office at 607-734-2690.
